Step 1
In this begining phase the basic requirements for the website are assessed. Find out what it needs to do and how it should work. What are the ultimate goals of having a new website? How many pages should it display and what platform it needs to be built on. Explore the various design options that make up the "look and feel" of the site.
Step 2
Gather text and images that need to be placed on the various pages and begin the site build. Create a sample site that closely matches the requirements set out in the design process and submit for review. Make necessary design adjustments for final submission.
Step 3
The site is ready for final testing and then is put live after the necessary hosting and DNS changes are made. An SSL certificate is setup to show visitors the website is secure. At this point some additional services like search engine optimisation, regular maintenance and performance scans can also be arranged if required.
I am based in Wormley, a small Surrey village in between Godalming and Haslemere.
Although website creation is a process that is mostly done remotely, I like to visit all new clients at least once. I cover an approximate 20 mile radius.

One thing I observed fairly early on were the volume of problems customers had managing domains, websites and email. In response to this need, and with a technical background established in managing email systems, I decided to offer web design and build as one of my core services.
