  • INTERNAL RECORD KEEPING - We may use the information to improve our products and services.
  • COOKIES - We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us collect and analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes. A small number of other third party cookies may be present for things like advertising and other functionality. By engaging the services of Standby Support you acknowledge and agree to the the following terms and conditions. Standby Support may change terms from time to time by updating this page.

  • DATA LOSS - Standby Support is not liable under any circumstances for the loss of customer data or any financial or material loss that may result from this.
  • VIRUSES - Standby Support will ensure where possible that adequate and up-to-date anti-virus protection is in place prior to connecting a laptop to a customer network, but will not be responsible for accidental virus infection or any data loss that might arise from such a situation.
  • DUTY OF CARE - Where possible, Standby Support will take appropriate measures to securely store customer equipment when taken offsite for repair, but will not be liable for any loss or damage.
  • PAYMENT TERMS - For all types of ad-hoc or call-out based work and repairs/upgrades, payment is expected on completion of the job. For jobs where payment via invoice has been agreed, the terms are strictly 7 days.

    - For Website builds part-payment is requested in advance with the remainder payable on completion.
    - For Wi-Fi and Network installation payment is due on completion.

    Any equipment supplied remains the property of Standby Support until payment is received in full.
  • WARRANTY - The warranty period for repairs is 30 days. The manufacturers warranty for parts fitted will usually be longer.
